The Kick-Start Program is part of the national initiative launched by Algeria Venture, the state-owned startup accelerator, and the Ministry of Knowledge Economy, Startups and Microenterprises. Operated by Leancubator, this 12-month incubation program is designed to support and empower labelized innovative project holders in transforming their projects into scalable and sustainable startups.
Through a structured and tailored incubation journey, the program offers selected entrepreneurs access to expert mentorship, practical training, prototyping support, workspace and business creation assistance, all aimed at enabling their successful market entry and long-term growth.

21 September – 12 October 2025
Open to project holders with the “Innovative project” label who aspire to turn their projects into startups.
Open nationwide, the call invites candidates to apply through a comprehensive form.
The aim is to identify and attract a solid pipeline of high-potential projects. -
12 – 19 October 2025
Applications will be screened based on transparent criteria, followed by individual interviews.
This stage evaluates feasibility, founders’ commitment, and the relevance of their solutions.
Eight (08) projects will be selected to join the full incubation journey. -
End of October 2025
Official launch with the selected startups, alongside partners and institutions.
The session sets the tone for the program, aligns commitments, and sparks collective momentum.
After diagnostic, each startup will receive its personalized incubation roadmap. -
November 2025 – April 2026
Startups benefit from collective training sessions on key innovation and entrepreneurship topics.
One-to-one monthly coaching sessions provide tailored guidance.
The journey is enriched with milestone events such as workshops, masterclasses, and strategic reviews. -
January – June 2026
This phase focuses on finalizing the MVP, testing it on the market, and structuring the business.
Founders receive support for legal incorporation and obtaining the national startup label.
Tailored guidance is provided to prepare for successful market entry. -
May – September 2026
Startups are supported in building traction and achieving their first sales.
Partnerships, client connections, and investor introductions will be facilitated.
The ultimate goal: secure sustainable growth beyond incubation.

REGULATIONS OF THE KICK-START PROGRAM 2025
Article 1: Organization
The Kick-Start Program 2025 is implemented by Leancubator, acting on behalf of Algeria Venture, the public startup accelerator in Algeria within the framework of the national incubation program launched by the Ministry of Knowledge Economy, Startups, and Microenterprises.
Article 2: Purpose of the Program
The program aims to identify, select, and support project holders labeled “Innovative Project” by the National Labeling Committee, with the objective of transforming their ideas into viable, competitive, and operational startups.
Article 3: Program Duration
The program runs for 12 months starting from the call for projects (21 September 2025) and includes the following stages: call for applications, projects selection, incubation program kick-off, intensive support phase, prototyping & market testing, and finally post-program follow-up & traction.
Article 4: Acceptance of the Regulations
Participation in the program implies full and unconditional acceptance of these Regulations.
In case of disagreement, the candidate must not register or take part in the program.
Article 5: Eligibility Criteria
5.1. Participant Status:
- Project holders who have obtained the “Innovative Project” label.
- Founders or team representatives with a solution under development.
5.2. Project Maturity:
- Functional MVP or one nearing completion.
- Demonstration of completed or achievable testing.
- Early clients, partners, or evidence of traction are considered an advantage.
Article 6: Application and Submission
The call for projects is open from 21 September to 12 October 2025.
Applications must be submitted via the official SOOLVIT platform. Required documents include:
- Pitch deck (PDF) covering: problem, solution, market, business model, competition, traction, team, roadmap, and impact. Visuals and key figures are encouraged.
- Team presentation (resume)
- Prototype, MVP or demo video
Article 7: Evaluation Criteria
Projects will be assessed according to the following criteria:
- Originality and innovation of the project
- Added value and economic viability
- Growth potential and scalability
- Qualifications and commitment of the founders
- Technical feasibility and execution capacity
- Long-term societal and/or environmental impact
- Mandatory possession of the “Innovative Project” label
Article 8: Selection Process
Phase 1 – Preselection: Applications reviewed by an expert jury.
Phase 2 – Interviews: Presentations before the jury for further evaluation.
Phase 3 – Final Selection: Up to 8 projects admitted to incubation.
Article 9: Incubation Support
Selected projects will benefit from:
- Technical and strategic training sessions
- Individual coaching (1 session/month)
- Collective workshops (business model, fundraising, pitching, etc.)
- Support for prototyping and market testing
- Assistance in obtaining the “Startup” label
- Market access and partner networking support
- National visibility and connect with key partners, clients, and investors
Article 10: Post-program Support
Projects reaching a certain maturity level may access further acceleration opportunities:
- Open Innovation tracks and networking with potential clients/partners
- Participation in demo days
- Support for national and international market entry
Article 11: Responsibilities and Commitments
Candidates commit to:
- Actively participating in all program activities
- Keeping the Incubator informed of the outcomes of introductions and opportunities facilitated by the program.
- Respecting program values, confidentiality clauses and communication charter.
- Using resources, funding, or support obtained through the program exclusively for the declared project and in line with contractual obligations.
- Upholding professionalism, ethics, and responsible behavior toward the Incubator, partners, mentors, trainers, and all stakeholders involved.
- Remaining committed after the program by responding to follow-up requests, participating in alumni events, and sharing experience to support future cohorts when possible.
- Authorizing the Incubator to communicate about the activities using non-confidential information and to provide logos, photos, or other materials for visibility purposes.
The program reserves the right to suspend support in cases of serious misconduct.
