AEDIB Joint Innovation Facility (JIF) 2026 — Africa–Europe Digital & Climate Innovation Scaling

The AEDIB Joint Innovation Facility (JIF) 2026 is a cross‑border funding and support program designed to help African and European consortia scale digitally enabled, commercially viable innovations with strong growth potential. It offers up to €200,000 in non‑dilutive funding to ventures that combine technological solutions with climate-positive impact or applied AI innovation.

The program targets startups, entrepreneurs, SMEs, research institutions, and ecosystem partners who can collaborate across borders, leveraging expertise from both Africa and Europe. Participating consortia receive tailored mentorship, technical support, investment readiness guidance, and networking opportunities to accelerate the growth and international expansion of their solutions.

This year, the program includes a dedicated AI funding window to support high-quality, applied AI solutions. Applications are open until 30 April 2026, and the call encourages African-led consortia with European partners to address digital and climate innovation challenges with measurable impact.
