African Women Entrepreneurship Cooperative Cohort 9

The African Women Entrepreneurship Cooperative (AWEC) Cohort 9 is a pan-African entrepreneurship and leadership program designed to support women entrepreneurs who are building purpose-driven and impact-oriented businesses across Africa.

The program brings together women founders from diverse sectors to strengthen their leadership skills, grow their businesses sustainably, and connect with a powerful community of peers and mentors from across the continent. Through structured learning, peer exchange, and practical resources, participants gain the confidence, clarity, and tools needed to scale their impact.

AWEC Fellows benefit from leadership development sessions, peer learning circles, and access to a strong pan-African network that continues beyond the program itself. The initiative also provides application support resources such as Info Week webinars, Application Buddies, and curated learning content to ensure an inclusive and supportive application experience.
