BlueInvest Africa 2026

BlueInvest Africa 2026 is a premier forum connecting African startups and SMEs in the blue economy with public and private investors to accelerate the financing of sustainable maritime solutions. Supported by the European Union under the Global Gateway initiative, the program aims to empower entrepreneurs developing innovative, scalable, and high-impact products or services in sectors such as fisheries and aquaculture, maritime logistics, sustainable coastal tourism, circular economy, marine energy, and maritime technology & data.

Selected participants gain access to international investors, strategic mentorship, and the opportunity to showcase their solutions on a global stage. Past editions have rewarded outstanding startups, demonstrating the potential for recognition and growth.

Applications are open to startups and SMEs across all African countries, with a deadline for submission on 13 February 2026. Participants with clear growth indicators and a market-entry strategy are especially encouraged to apply.
