BY Acceleration program supporting agrifood ventures in Rwanda with funding, technical support, and market access to scale innovative solutions and create jobs, especially for young women.
The IGNITE Challenge 4.0, launched by the United Nations World Food Programme in partnership with Impact Hub Kigali, aims to support up to 6 high-impact agrifood ventures.
The program targets growth-stage startups, SMEs, and cooperatives working across the agrifood value chain. It focuses on strengthening food systems through innovation in areas such as production, post-harvest processes, access to finance, and market access.
Selected ventures will benefit from equity-free funding, tailored technical assistance, investment readiness support, and connections to investors and key ecosystem players. The initiative places a strong emphasis on youth-led and women-led businesses contributing to sustainable job creation.
