The PRIMA Young Innovators Award 2026 celebrates the creativity, leadership, and determination of young innovators from Southern Mediterranean Countries who are driving solutions for sustainability.

Applicants can apply individually or as a group (all members must meet eligibility). The award evaluates leadership, innovation, impact, and potential for growth and youth empowerment.

Key Dates:

  1. Application period opens: 20 March 2026 (13:00 CET)
  2. Submission deadline: 28 May 2026 (13:00 CET)
  3. Jury selection: October 2026
  4. Award ceremony: Last quarter of 2026

Prize: Two awards of EUR 10,000 each, with media visibility, recognition, and networking opportunities.

Eligibility:

  1. Aged 18–35 years at the submission deadline
  2. Nationals and residents of Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Tunisia, or Türkiye
  3. Individual or group applications (natural persons only)

Award Criteria:

  1. Leadership and creative contribution
  2. Relevance to Mediterranean challenges
  3. Impact achieved or expected
  4. Potential for growth, replication, and youth empowerment
