Purpose
- Identify and support the most promising start-ups in Algeria in the fields of the blue and green economy.
- Create synergies and collaborations between start-ups and major Italian groups in an open innovation approach.
- Provide technical support to start-ups offering innovative sustainable solutions.
Why should you participate ?
- 7 startups will be selected to benefit from a 6-months incubation program provided by Leancubator and supported by CIHEAM Bari International Experts.
- By the end of the incubation program, one winning startup will get a prize of € 5.000,00 to be used in the form of support tools, training, coaching, services and equipment according to the choice of the winners.
- The opportunity to join a community of Italian companies and access a 3-months open Innovation program with an Italian company.

To be selected the company needs to demonstrate that it is bringing an innovative and feasible project in the field of green economy/blue economy, with a particular focus on at least one of the following topics:

Terms of Apply

The application form must be drafted in English language

The registrant/representative must be a member of the company, either a founder, co-founder, majority partner or a person with power of representation and decision within the startup.

The startup/company must be formally registered since at least 1 year

The startup/company propose an Innovative and feasible solution in the field of green economy or blue economy
-
Important: Any submission duplicated by the same person, under different company names, will result in the cancellation of the participation of the candidate and the teams concerned.

Based on the above criteria, an initial shortlist of 7 applications per country will be made by a Selection Committee to be held.

The program is designed to enhance the skills of candidates on different issues relevant to the development of innovative companies, such as organization and management of start-ups, marketing, team and team building, investment.

The selection of the winning startup will be made by a jury of national and international neutral experts (entrepreneurs, CEOs, members of the academic world and investors) and a member of CIHEAM Bari Coordination team.
