Startup10 is a program financed by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) and executed by CIHEAM Bari. Entitled EMPOWERING ENTREPRENEURIAL SKILLS IN GREEN & BLUE ECONOMY IN MED AND AFRICA REGION, the program aims to promote food security and youth employment in ten (10) Italian cooperation partner countries (Albania, Algeria, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Egypt, Ethiopia, Jordan, Kenya, Lebanon, Tunisia and Uganda) in partnership with a total of 22 incubators. Leancubator is the incubator partner representing Algeria. Startup 10 will be implemented for a total duration of two (02) years, with a complete capacity building program to encourage the development of local start-ups operating in the green and blue economy sectors and involved in digitalization processes.

• Identify and support the most promising start-ups in Algeria in the fields of the blue and green economy.
• Create synergies and collaborations between start-ups and major Italian groups in an open innovation approach.
• Provide technical support to start-ups offering innovative sustainable solutions.

• 7 startups will be selected to benefit from a 6-months incubation program provided by Leancubator and supported by CIHEAM Bari International Experts.
• By the end of the incubation program, one winning startup will get a prize of € 5.000,00 to be used in the form of support tools, training, coaching, services and equipment according to the choice of the winners.
• The opportunity to join a community of Italian companies and access a 3-months open Innovation program with an Italian company.
